Synopsis

## Dorohedoro *Dorohedoro* is one of the most audacious anime adaptations in recent memory — a bizarre, bloody, and strangely warm story set in a crumbling city where magic users prey upon powerless humans. In the slum district known as the Hole, people live in fear of sorcerers who use them as test subjects for their spells. Caiman is a man whose head has been transformed into that of a reptile by an unknown sorcerer — and whose memories were erased along with his original face. Together with his tough and resourceful partner Nikaido, Caiman hunts down sorcerers, biting their heads off to consult the mysterious small man who lives inside his mouth — the only lead he has to restoring his original self. On the other side of the magic door, the elegant and powerful sorcerer En runs a criminal empire, dispatching his loyal retinue to track down Caiman before he can discover the truth of his curse. Adapted by MAPPA with a distinctive visual style that preserves Q Hayashida's dense, grotesque linework, the original Season 1 delivers 12 episodes of pitch-black horror comedy that effortlessly mixes gore, slapstick, genuine heart, and an endlessly inventive world. **Season 2 premiered April 1, 2026 on Netflix and Crunchyroll** — 11 new episodes continuing directly from Season 1, with Yuichiro Hayashi returning as director and (K)NoW_NAME providing the score. The new season escalates the war between the Hole's residents and the sorcerer elite, deepening Caiman's search for the truth of his curse.
