## Guilty Crown A timid boy gains the power to draw weapons from people's hearts, thrusting him into a resistance war against the regime ruling a Japan ravaged by a deadly virus. A decade after the Apocalypse Virus and the chaos of "Lost Christmas" left Japan under the control of the international GHQ, withdrawn high schooler Shu Ouma stumbles into the orbit of Inori, a pop idol secretly fighting with the resistance group Funeral Parlor. A chance encounter grants Shu the "Power of the King," letting him reach into a person's heart and pull out a weapon shaped by their personality, called a Void. Drawn into the rebellion against GHQ, Shu must shoulder leadership, betrayal, and devastating moral choices as the truth behind the virus and his own past unravels. A visually lavish sci-fi tragedy of power, trust, and the cost of leadership.
