## Kiznaiver Seven mismatched teens are forcibly linked by a system that makes them share one another's pain, dragging strangers into a forced experiment in empathy and connection. In the artificial city of Sugomori, emotionally numb high schooler Katsuhira Agata is informed by his classmate Sonozaki that he has been chosen as a "Kiznaiver." The experimental Kizuna System surgically links seven wildly different students so that any wound or pain one suffers is distributed among them all. Forced together by their shared injuries, the group, including a brash delinquent, an airheaded optimist, and a calculating perfectionist, must complete bonding missions designed to forge understanding. As their physical connection draws out buried secrets and old wounds, the experiment probes whether true empathy can be manufactured.
