## Solanin *Solanin* is Inio Asano's breakthrough work — a compact, devastating story about the paralysis of early adulthood and the question of what it means to have something worth fighting for. Meiko Inoue has just graduated and is working a dead-end office job she hates in Tokyo. Her boyfriend Naruo — who goes by "Taneda" — drifts through part-time work and bandmates who are slowly giving up on music.
